So What is worldliness?
Three characteristics (C.H. Dodd as listed in Stott, 104):
- BASE DESIRES // The desires of the flesh – depravity of the heart – what springs up in the heart.
- FALSE DESIRES // The desires of the eyes – covetousness
- EGOISM // Pride in possessions – the desire to look like something to others; related to external circumstances – conceit

- Timeless (sufficient) – not based around cultural preference.
- Expansive (of meaning)
