Genesis 21:1-7 – We’ve been studying stories in the life of Abraham. These Old Testament stories are some of the oldest narratives that exist in human history.
Why study 4,000+ year old stories? Because unlike many stories, these human experiences include pointers to God: Clues about who he is and what he has done. Through these stories people have found God. These stories have, for thousands of years, been a reliable telling of transformed lives (in the stories), and have transformed many more lives (in the telling of them) as people have found God through them.
Today we look at another story. And in this story, the transformed life is Sarah’s, and laughter is the clue to who God is and what he has done.
